Duration: Full Time

A hotel sales coordinator assists the Area Director of Sales in booking hotel accommodation and groups and meeting spaces, supporting the efforts of the team within their department as well as providing services directly to the client. The coordinator also works with various hotel departments, as well as with outside vendors, to ensure accommodation of groups and meetings run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Area Directors of Sales and coordination of sales activities.
  • Maintain and update customer database and sales records.
  • Put Hotel's contracts together for Area DOS.
  • Prepare sales reports and presentations for management.
  • Answering questions about a hotel's group options over the phone or via email.
  • Complete administration of RFP's for both KNR & LNR Accounts across Multi-branded lodging companies in a timely manner.
  • Assist Hotel’s in receiving BossLite Leads when needed.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments for the ADOS.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new business opportunities.
  • Support the development of sales strategies and marketing campaigns.

Experience:

  • Hotel industry experience is an advantage. (Marriott, IHG, Hilton, Hyatt etc.)
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients Requirements.
  • Proven experience in a hotel sales support or coordination role or Hotel front desk.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working on platforms; Meeting Broker, Delphi, Envision Sales, CVENT, Opera PMS etc. would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Multi-Property Sales Director assists the Area Director of Sales in contributing to the overall Sales budget by sourcing opportunities for hotel accommodation and groups and meeting spaces, supporting the efforts of the team within their department as well as providing services directly to the client.

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 4-6 years of sales experience in the capacity of hotel group and meeting sales.
  • Prior sales experience with hotel properties including both full and select/limited-service brands would be an asset.
  • Work with the Area Director of Sales in developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.
  • Achieve budget across business transient and extended stay and groups.
  • Analyzing market information and implement strategy to achieve designated properties financial goals.
  • Exceptional Customer Service.
  • Display leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifying customer service and creating a positive example for guest relations.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Possesses previous experience with Delphi FDC, Meeting Broker, Envision Sales, CVENT, Opera PMS.
  • Develops stakeholders’ network and negotiates contracts for LNR, KNR & Groups business.

Experience:
